I'm using an older version of VLC, version 3.0.2 Vetinari (as the newer versions stutter when playing my cctv camera footage).
I'm trying to take a snapshot in a video, but everytime I take one its just a green picture.
I searched the forum for answers and it was suggested to turn off hardware acceleration. But for the life of me I can't see where that option is in this version.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Tools -> Preferences -> Input/Codecs
