Perform actions when video in playlist starts and ends

Hi. I would like to run some commands when;
- a video in playlist starts playing
- a video in playlist finished playing
- when vlc quits because the play list is finished


What's the best way to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, there is currently no way to add events for this. The only way is polling unfortunately.
