Problem With Newest version of VLC player for Windows 10 pro
For some reason some old rar video files which I transferred from my older Windows Vista based PC will not play in the newest updated vlc player in my Windows 10 Pro OS in my new PC. What can be the problem?

VLC fails to play most of my videos that are inside multipart rar archive (I access via SMB). Somtimes VLC even crashes (I get a dialog the next start).
When I try to play the same video/rar with Media Player Classic, it works.
