Crop changes subtitle position (not reflected in snap)

When video is cropped to 16:9, the subtitles move to the right (preferences are set to center).

Below are two screenshots, one as I can see it (Windows screenshot), the other is VLC snap (which shows correct behavior somehow).

VLC version is 3.0.6, and video info is:
Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Video resolution: 1920x800
Viewed on 1366x768 monitor.

I'm having this problem too. When cropping the black bars subtitles aren't centered anymore. Is there a solution for this yet?
