Enabling VLC when a media is launched by double-clicking

Hello everyone, this is my first intervention in this forum and I hope to be in the right place for this post. I've been using your software for a very long time and every time I get surprised, I explain myself, I usually launch a media by double clicking on it then I use the arrows for jumps (forward, rewind) but jumps don't work the first time because VLC is not active so I have to click on VLC to make it active and then it works fine. Could you make it active as soon as a media is launched by double-clicking, please? That would be great!
