No audio VLC 0.5.0 under SuSE 8.2

Hi there,

first of all, excuse my bad english!

I've compiled VLC 0.5.0 (*) without warnings or errors, but there is absolutely no audio. I tried every audio output, but no one works. Normally, I use oss for audio output.

Any ideas?

(*) There was no way to compile any newer version of VLC!

I've successfully compiled the new vlc 0.7.1 yesterday and it's working fine!
