Hide the info "Do you want to restart the playback"

Postby elektropunk » 19 Sep 2019 18:11

Hello,
is there a possibility to hide the info "Do you want to restart the playback" when skipping to the next track inside a playlist?
(appears every second time or so)
Asking for a presentation which is controlled over keyboard/Leap-Motion and is essential to run in full screen (image gets rezised when info is displayed) withput any other OSD.
Managed to hide titles and controls fine.

Thanks for any ideas/tips

Hi, you can disable it in the setting or run vlc with the --qt-continue=0 option.

Thanks, found it.
Full path:
Tools -> Preferences -> Show all
Advanced Preferences -> Interface -> Main Interfaces -> Qt -> continue playback -> never

Return to “General VLC media player Troubleshooting”
