Synchronous playing of multiple videos from 1 Computer

Postby paralion » 11 Aug 2019 20:55

I am looking for a functionality like SyncPlay, but just on 1 Computer.
I have 5 Screens, and want to output 4 different videos on the 4 screens simultanously and synchronously. That means, if I jump to e.g, second 47 on the timeline, all 4 videos should go to that point. The 5th screen by the way should show the play/pause buttons and the timeline.

Btw the function described in this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZVvoalGWEw&t=91s
works, but only with maximum 2 videos. If I add more, they simply do not show.
Is this possible with scripting or any other module?

Hope for help,
thanks, p.

Sorry this isn't an answer, but I have a very similar requirement. No quite so many videos (just 3 which need to be visible).

I'm not so fixed on it being from a single machine, so I'll be having a look at SyncPlay.

Which video are you talking about?

Sorry, forgot the link, added it now. Let me know if you were successfull with syncplay. Maybe that will be also my solution, as I need 4k and that might be impossible using just one computer.

Reviving this conversation, because this does not appear to work in the latest client 3.08 on Windows 10, can anyone verify this? Working through flow, and adding the second file for synchronous play, results in only the first file being played and no second window ever appearing...bug?
