Is it possible to have subtitles on or off automatically depending on what audio language you are watching in?

I watch a lot of anime in both english and Japanese depending on the anime I am watching, and have already set the audio to choose English as a preference when available. But currently, I still have to disable the subtitles every time I watch a different episode, at the same time I don't want to fully disable them as I then have to re-enable them when I go to watch something ing Japanese.

Is it possible to set the subtitles to automatically turn off if I am watching with English audio and then automatically turn on if I start watching something in Japanese?
