VLC iOS Wifi Upload Bug

Hey Folks,

Thanks for the awesome VLC app for iOS, the only bug I face when I use the app is the conflict between auto-lock and wifi-upload, I usually upload files 500-700MB so they take 5+ Minutes to transfer via WIFI, If you let the app working the phone will auto lock, if you tried to activate the phone by entering the lock passcode the transfer will automatically fail, also if you activated wifi upload in the VLC menu and didn't CLOSE the settings menu after you enabled it and the phone went to auto-lock the transfer will also fail even without trying to unlock the phone.

Hello,

This issue is resolved in VLC 2.1 for iOS, which is already submitted to Apple for review and should be available in a few days from now.

Hello it's 2019 and I still have this problem. Except that uploads take a while to fail after the device auto-locks, and not every time. Any thoughts?

You have 10 mins maximum after the device locks to complete your upload. Afterwards, the device will terminate the connection. Depending on the iOS version, this time may vary. There is nothing we can do about it.
