Hey everyone,
Since one of the last updates I encountered a very weird behavior with VLC.
Everytime I start a new player (and a new audio or video file) the sound is rather low (though still being at 100% in the player).
However, if I pause it, select another windows (like a browser or explorer), and then reselect VLC and resume play, the audio is _much_ louder.
Anyone else having this weird problem?

Yes - probably the same problem:
VLC playback gets softer when VLC is background window or minimized, and gets markedly louder when VLC is made the foreground window. (Which makes adjusting volume frustrating.)
Windows 10, VLC 3.0.6 Vetinari, speakers plugged into headphones jack.

This is not controlled inside VLC.

I have also experienced this issue on VLC 3.0.16. The sound becomes louder, and it happens very often. Happens through HDMI or headphone jack
