VLC 3.0.6 can't work with .ts?

Postby kjz61 » 07 Feb 2019 14:14

I just upgraded from VLC 3.0.4 Vetinari (Intel 64bit) to 3.0.6. my VLS 3.0.4 was able to play .ts (transport streams) or .ts4 (HD) without problems. When I try to play either with the 3.0.6 version, it simply does not work. The title of the file show up in the Playlist with duration 00:00 and that's it. The Codec Details section of the Media Information window is empty in 3.0.6 while in 3.0.4 it shows details (Stream0: Original ID: 5111; Codec: H264 - MPEG3 AVC (part10) (h264); Type: Video; Video Resolution: 1280x720.... plus 2 audio streams mpga)

My OS is OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

Anyone else having this problem? Any advice or solution?

Thanks, Kurt
