HELP!--Saving with Subtitles--

Postby bernie_hoff » 25 Feb 2019 17:21

I was able to watch my videos on VLC with subtitles by adding a subtitle file. I created a whole playlist with my videos (and their subtitles). But when I tried to save the playlist, it would save the videos, but not with their subtitles. Does anyone know how to save my VLC playlist and have it keep the subtitle file attached to it?

P.S. I'm not super tech-savy so sorry if that doesn't make much sense.

Hi,

you can do as folowing:

1) Open Media > open multiple files.
2) Add the file you want to play (Add)
3) Click "Use a subtitle" and select the file (this step is important)
4) repeat steps 1-3 to add other files to your playlist
5) Media > save playlist to file
6) export as m3u8 or xspf
