Prevent VLC from looping audio files with build in loops

Hi there,

I have an audio file which has looping build in. I don't always want to have that file loop. If it is part of a playlist I would prefer the file to be treated like any other non-looping file.
I already searched the web and I looked through the preferences but I could not find an option to prevent VLC from looping the file. Is there any way to make this work without have a separate non-looping version of the file on my disk?
