VLC watermark in all my videos

Hi All.I've searched for an existing answer to my question, but have had no luck.

The VLC watermark appears in the middle of every video, movie, etc that I play with VLC, even when I transfer that movie to a portable drive and play it directly through a tv. Is this normal and how do I get around it/remove it? Thanks in advance.

VLC has no watermark to begin with, so your question does not make much sense.
