Blank VLC Player Pops Up When Advancing Playlist In Fullscreen

So whenever a video finishes and advances onto the next file from my playlist in fullscreen, a blank vlc player pops up that immediately disappears when I move my mouse. It's become a nuisance whenever I want to watch a series having to constantly move my mouse to get rid of the window. I've tried applying the settings Playlist > Enqueue items into playlist in one instance mode, and Allow only one running instance, but that doesn't seem to remedy my issue at all. I'm on version 3.0.3 64bit. Please help!

Are you running a skin? Can you try without to see if you have the issue?
What OS are you on?
Can you see 2 VLC processes running?

Sorry for the very late reply, thought my post wasn't gonna get any answers, I'm on windows 10 home 64bit and I am using a skin, metrox_vlc 3.0.0. I have tried without using a skin and the same issue occurs. And I do see 2 vlc processes running in task manager:

Any insight on what could help is greatly appreciated.

Can you try uninstalling it, reinstalling from videolan.org without the skin and see if there is still an issue?

Uninstalling and reinstalling, and deleting preferences helped. It works with the native skin, I don't encounter the problem at all. But when I switch back to the metro skin, the problem reoccurs, so I think I'll withhold from using that skin until it gets updated. Thank you again for the assistance!
