I've seen an issue now with two different anime shows I've downloaded that use linked .mkv for the opening and closing. The show I just acquired (https://animetosho.org/view/kobayashi-s ... s.n1008287) defaults to Japanese audio and subtitles turned on. After the prologue plays, the linked opening plays, and while the OP file opened by itself has subtitles turned on by default, when it starts over the course of the episode the subtitles are off. The subtitles also are turned off once the opening finishes and it resumes playing the actual show. If I completely skip the segment where it's linked the subtitles stay on, but I don't want to do that. For what it's worth, MPC-HC handles these .mkvs without issue, subtitles stay on fine throughout the linked opening and resuming the original file. If I wanted to use MPC-HC though I wouldn't be here. I'm using the x64 version 3.0.3 on Windows 7 and have tried resetting all VLC settings to default.
I have to admit I'm not exactly sure how to do that aside from sharing the torrent, the link in my first post is how I acquired it yesterday. The torrent is also available here: https://nyaa.si/view/1008287 The files you want will be the episodes in the "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon" folder, they're numbered 1 through 14, and each one is linked to the OP and ED files in the same folder. There's a minute or two of prologue, then the OP kicks in, then once it's finished it goes back to the actual episode. Please share the files, and we can open a ticket.
Yes sir, it should be.So OP + ED + EP1 should be enough?
