Fast foreward/Rewind issues

I love the VLC app for xbox one.. But I'm having issues with fast forward or rewind wherein if I do it too much VLC will crash..... Microsoft version of this player (Films & TV) will not crash and in fact on successive presses will do 2x, 4x, 8x.. up to 128x in either FF or rewind.... This is am issue if I have a long (time wise) mp4 in that I can not quickly get to the point of the video I am interested in.

Is there any chance FF/Rewind in VLC could be more like MS version?

The file does not batter it does it with any/every file I have.. How do I share the/a file how big must it be? No one else has this issue then?

No it doesn't have this issue with every files, I have trouble reproducing. Can you share your file please?
And your Xbox model also.

Sorry I have been away....

I hope I did this right.... Like I said if I do Fast Forward or Rewind to much or to quick back and forth between them VLC will crash.

One thing I did notice was it did not crash with files under 20 mins. in length.
