Image Viewing Support?

Postby NameBrandHipster » 15 Jun 2018 08:23

Hey, new to the forums, but not new to VLC. But only in the past year have I begun using it as my main media player (new windows 10 media player is awful. only good for 4k videos which sadly VLC can't handle atm.)

I'm curious if there is a way to view image files using VLC. Is there a feature I need to activate, or a plugin/add-on I can download? Or possibly code I can install?
I actually took two semesters of C+ code, so I'm not a code virgin, and can understand the basics, so I could probably figure it out if someone has already written the code.

Thanks for any help!

:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC

My problem is that pictures only open if they are on their own. For example, I can't open a folder with videos and photos, and cycle through them. It will only play the videos.
