VLC Photos support ?

Does it possible to view photos/pictures via VLC ?
If not do you plan to add this soon ?

I managed to get VLC to open some pictures by using Solid Explorer to open them as videos.

It seems that once you trick VLC into opening an image file, it will display it, and treat it as a 10-second, one-frame video (essentially, it will display the image for 10 seconds, and then close it). This is consistent with the behavior of the Windows version of VLC.
