Youtube-Livestream - different Time in VLC and Webbrowser

Postby #thweiss » 22 May 2018 09:16

Hello,

by playing Youtube-Livestreams the Content in the Videolan-Mediaplyer Version 3.0.2 (32-Bit) is different from the same Livestream in the Webbrowser (Mozilla Firefox). My OS is Windows 7 (64-Bit).

Stream-Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5Nst2zMZVY

The different Livestream from the same Source stop playing in the VLC-Player after nearly one Minute.

Hope there is an solution for it.

Kind regards.
Thomas

The offset is 60sec. HLS Playlist is 2.5M. It does not make sense to re-download 2.5M every 15sec for minimal offset.

The cutoff has been fixed and should be in nightlies by tomorrow.
