not all files showing on iPad Pro

I'm new to using the VLC appon my new ipad pro, running ios 11.3.1
I'm using VLC for ios version 3.0.3 (305)

The issue is that not all files are showing on the ipad. For example, I will load 10 files, but only 5 will show on the
ipad screen. However, if I delete 1 file, then the remaining 9 files will show up. When I re-open the app later,
i'm back to only seeing some of the files,

Has anyone else experienced this weirdness?

We found one case where we reproduced this issue. A fix will come with 3.1 and then this should hopefully not happen anymore
