Issues since update to 3.0.1 vetinari

Hi all,

Hopefully you can help me here, i have had a few annoyances since the update.

1. When i click to open, it always reverts to an in built folder and not the last used
2. It shows hidden folders

Maybe its just a setting i am struggling to find.

Just bumping this. Not sure why I cannot remove hidden folders on VLC when opening videos anymore? Otherwise, I may need to revert to an earlier version. I get a bunch of system files amongst the videos...

Currently, I am using the latest build 3.0.2

Please let me know if there is a way to fix this.
