File Name showing

Maybe a dumb question but I just Downloaded VLC for first time and converted a formerly very jerky video. Now beautiful and smooth BUT it has the file name visible for the first 3 - 5 seconds and I would love to use that portion of the footage. How can I remove this tag? thanks Forum helpful people!!

Preferences (All) -> Interface -> Main interfaces -> Qt -> Show notification popup on track change

Turn if off.
