DVD VIDEO_TS.IFO does not work in VLC 3.0.0

I installed VLC 3.0.0. But I found that double clicking VIDEO_TS.IFO DVD file does not play video. Instead title bar keeps changing text. I use double-click shortcuts to VIDEO_TS.IFO files to start DVD video. Will this problem be fixed?

VLC keeps showing the following messages. VLC is treating VIDEO_TS.IFO file as MPEG file. This has no problem in VLC 2.x.x.

I click the IFO file and it starts VLC but then nothing just a blank screen

I can start the video from video open disk menu but that is a pain having to drill down through folders each time
is there a link to the old version. this has not been a problem until recently

I'm using win 10 and vlc 3.01 64 bit
