VLC 3.0 - codec info changed - info missing

Postby StreamR » 27 Feb 2018 14:51

Hi,

I just noticed that with VLC 3.0 the codec info dialog has been changed. I am missing the color subsampling info (not sure if the option was called so exactly) - I mean the entry that usually showed values like "4:2:0" or "4:2:2".
Why was that entry removed from the codec info dialog?

Furthermore it would be good to have the info about "bits_per_raw_sample" added here.

That would be a bug. Please put it on the bugtracker.
