VLC 3 on Raspbian

Is there an easy way to install VLC 3 on Raspbian?

I tried compiling it from source but I failed.

VLC 3.0.0 as well as 3.0.1 does not yet work on RaspberryPi.

VLC 3.0.2 still does not work as expected.
It works for playing a local video with OMX-IL but not for receiving streams. MMAL does not work at all.

Well playing local files is what I need, so I'll give it a try. Thanks for the heads up!
