VLC 3 - Mouse wheel horizontal axis control - position control: Is there a way to configure the step size?

Hi,

I remember the seek speed when seeking via mouse scroll over the seek bar - used to be much faster.
it is now seems to jump 3 seconds per single scroll 'tick', i can't seem to find where to configure this, is this even possible?
I really want it to seek faster with the moue wheel.
(Configuring different speeds for "Jump sizes" in the hotkeys advanced menu does not affect this behavior in any way)
