Starting UHD Movie - Xbox one x shut down

Hi,

I have a funny problem: if I start a UHD mkv file with brand new VLC 3.0 my Xbox one x makes a shut down?
Everytime and anyway which bit rate the file has!?
Any suggestions?

Shure not. It is a Back up from a Blu-Ray of mine... so I will not share it. That's not legal.

I have a similar issue just a thread below, most of the time UHD content does not play (no video) and from times to times it crashes (but it's an Xbox One S here)
But if you share no content, no chance to reproduce, so cut a sample extract, maybe 1 minute, check if you face the same issue, and PM mfkl.

Or do the test we some other contents that are legals, maybe use the sample library from Kodi : https://kodi.wiki/view/Samples
Otherwise there are too few chances to reproduce your issue !

Anyway which file I'm using the xbox shutsdown or the picture freezes at it's first frame... sound works a couple of seconds.
Then the box freezes.

Signal way is:
Xbox One X => VLC 3.0.0.70 => File from NAS (Synology) => Denon X6300H => Sony VPL-VW760 ES

Meanwhie I tried to play another movie with the internal mediaplayer of my LG 65" Screen. Surprise, surprise...that work's fine!

I guess it was not fixed, I also still have the same issues, even worse, now most of the time XBox One just shuts down !
But I think mfkl would come here if the bug was reported as fixed.
