XBoxONE v3.0.0.70 DLNA issues at the end of a video

Postby IronGibbet » 14 Feb 2018 22:09

Hi,

first, thank you for the 3.0.X version a lot has improved.

Unfortunately in the newest version, mentioned in the title, I have an issue at the end of each video I have tried it with so far (about 120 files mostly video: AVC audio: AAC subtitles(if available): ASS and either mp4 or mkv containers).
If you don't skip to the next file, when in a playlist, or ending the video with the B(ack) button, for a single file, the playback freezes and except for the A button nothing works until you completely close VLC. You can instantly restart it an it works until the next end of a file is near.

Same goes if you skip adhead too much and reach the "critical zone" (skipping: up to 10 seconds (test video was about four minutes long), normal playback: one to two seconds (so far length of the files between 20 to 25 minutes)).

If you need further testing or information I am happy to answer.

Would be great if you could look into that.

Thanks in advance.
Best regards
IG

Hi IronGibbet,

Yes this has been fixed and will be part of the next release.

For the "skip adhead too much" part, still looking into it.
