After restoring my iPad there were 2 videos in the VLC app

Before I reset my iPad I had VLC installed and there were several videos in it. After resetting and restoring from iCloud there were 2 videos in the app. Most were gone though. I was actually expecting all of them to be gone.

So I’m just wondering why it restored 2 videos but not all of them?
I guess my question is, why does it behave like this?

This is odd and unexpected. In fact you are right to assume that no file at all should have been restored.

Are those two remnants any different from the other previously existing files?
