is there a way to make vlc act like a dvd player?

Postby Guest » 21 Dec 2005 23:55

i mean not jsut playing VOB files (which it does)
but also showing menus

i only know of one windows player that acts like a dvd player (starts playing the menus and from there you choose - instead of jsut playing all the VOB files which part of them are not the actual movie)

interactual player

if there's a way to do it in VLC that would be great.
is there a way?
thanks

I opened the directory and I get the DVD Menu fine ... now how do you press "Play"? No Plat button is available ... the DVD files are on a file server.
