Streaming YouTube to roku

Is there a way to share a roku video to vlc app, then cast it to thd Roku?

Double speed would be a huge plus. I cannot stand watching video at anything under 1.4x. 1.7x is occasionally needed for a fast talker.

I cannot watch- in evening- on phone, even dimmed, with shade over lay. It wakes me up too much. TV is better. However, i cannot navigate on my tv without walking up to set. Navigation on tablet or phone, watching on tv.
