Pulseaudio error if only use alsa?

Postby calanor » 19 Jan 2018 12:53

In log file I have a Pulseaudio error:

Code: Select all

[0x7fb67c000958] pulse audio output error: PulseAudio server connection failure: Connection refused

I do not have installed Pulseaudio because I only use alsa and it works well. Is it possible to remove this error if I do not use Pulseadio?

You can force the output to alsa in preference -> audio -> output module

Don't compile/install the VLC PulseAudio plug-in if you don't have PulseAudio?
