Filter saved in a video

Postby francescobat » 22 Dec 2017 19:07

Hi !
Time ago i made an experiment in a video file with the filter reflection of vlc.
It changed video in vertical.
After i can not restore it in normal because if i disable the filter, vlc continue to play video overturned.
The only way is to apply new reflection vertical filter to restore in normal, but if i disable it the video come back overturned.
I tried to open file in others configurations (deleting /config/vlc or in other different systems how pclinuxos, slackware, etc) but it is always overturned.
The strange thing if i open video file with avidemux or smplayer, they open it good and without problems.
How can i to solve ?
Bye

Opening the file with Mediainfo i get this string in section video:

Rotation : 180°

How it is happened ?
Is it possible restore just rotation from vlc without to edit codec file ?
