Music doesn't starts automaticaly when bluetooth headphones are connected. "Resume on headset insertion" is checked.

headset insertion, is usually for the jack connection I believe.Hi!

Resume means it's been paused.
This concerns playback paused by headset removal, it enables resume when headset is plugged back in.
Auto start is a bad idea imho, you don't necessarily want to launch VLC when you plug your headset.
