Suddenly cannot access a folder and app will crash

Hi

I have a weird problem. I have VLC for TVOs 1.07 and it was wonking fine until suddenly when I tried to click on the folder I usually access, it will just try to go in but will not populate with the files and then just crash and go the the main apple tv screen. I tried to change the username and password on mu shared folder. I tried to delete the username and then relogin . I tried using another password. I tried changing the permissions of the foldsr, reboot apple tv. I also tried to delete the app, r oot the apple tv and reinstall the app to no avail. I tried to use another player, infuse 4 to access the folder and it accessed just fine.

So what is going on? Is there a maximum file folder count of the folder? The other folders under the same nas i can access without any problem except for that one folder.
