VLC for Windows 10 - Where are the in-app autorotate settings

Postby JasonKirby » 01 Oct 2017 22:49

Hi have a 2-in-1 computer, and when I use VLC for Windows, it forces the screen orientation so that it is the same way up (i.e. keyboard is down).
If I use the 2-in-1 upside down, VLC does not autorotate to allow for this.
All other apps rotate fine - I have Autorotate activated in Windows 10.
I cannot find anywhere in the settings, this version of VLC seems stripped back with very few settings.

Can anyone help?

Try:
Tools > Effects and Filters (ctrl_E) > Video Effects tab > Geometry tab

Return to “VLC media player for Windows Troubleshooting”
