VLC 2.2.6 crashes when attempting to play DVD

Postby half12 » 27 Sep 2017 14:19

Hi,
Yesterday I purchased the DVD "Miss Sloane", when I attempted to play it using VLC 2.2.6 on Windows 7 SP1 VLC crashed immediately.
I then tried to play the DVD using default MS Media Player which did work but it flagged it as an Unknown DVD.
I tried playing same DVD using VLC 2.2.4 under Linux and VLC also crashed but linux appears to have problems with the disk format

First try Nightly Build of VLC

Then if you can make available an iso image..
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC
* Tell us when your problem is solved !
