Icon color of VLC Windows App is white instead of yellow cone

If I select VLC app as default application then all my movie files change their icon to white cone. It is terrible since they look almost invisible. Worse, the icon only show up when the files are selected, if they are not selected then there is no icons at all.

Can we change the application icon to the standard yellow cone ?
