Resize videoplayback window + Playlist

I was wondering if its possible to change (increase) the window for videoplayback while I have the playlist open. To better explain my problem I uploaded this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/vAsJg
I would like to increase the size of the "red box" and decrease the size of the unused space in the "green box". This is the maximum height my current format allows, I can decrease it until it disappears but not the other way around.
