Hi SpaceMarine2017,

Which version of the app are you using?

I' ll try it...
I installed every update of the OS and the newest VLC player. I activated "decode by Receiver" at the Blu-Ray section and meanwhile I activated Atmos for Home Theatre with the Dolby Access app. (Not the headphones part) ... so... I can play Dolby Atmos Blu-Rays but no mkv encoded movies. Before the update mkv movies with Atmos sound stuck but now at least they were played. Only without Atmos sound!? Are there any settings that could lead to success?

No, there are not...unless there´s a bitstream capability implemented in the VLC app you won´t be able to play any native audio format, like Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby True HD, etc...everything will be played back as forced multichannel PCM because of the Xbox OS.
