Drives Useage

Postby jdycus » 01 Sep 2017 14:08

I have a laptop with 2 hard drives: the normal C:\ drive and an internal SSD drive that I installed in place of the CD ROM drive. For best performance playing VOB video files, should I install both the VLC player program and the VOB files on the SSD, or put the VLC player program on the C:\ drive and the video files on the SSD? Thanks for help.

Define performance.
Performance of the playback or performance of the SSD ?

Think about it and the answer should be obvious ;-)
Where VLC is installed doesn't matter, it's all about the video files.
