libVLC vlcj for Java Integration

Postby MS-Tech » 04 Aug 2017 15:46

Hello,

at the moment i try to itegrate the VLC-Player into a Java application with vlcj and libVLC. In this context i have a question. I play a video file and pause it after a certain time. I save the time to play the video from this point again later. That's the problem. I can not set the start time before playing. This means that only a few frames are played first before the start time is jumped. Is this a problem of vlcj or libVLC? Is there a workaround here?

Greetings

It might be a libvlc limitation. Check the Android application to check how we're doing it.
