Unknown Track - Unknown Artist on Xbox One w/ Background audio

Hi all,

I'm using the Background Audio feature of my Xbox One with VLC (v2.3.3.6). On the side bar, (see attached image) the artist and track info is always blank. The mp3 files do have proper metadata.
Also, I'm streaming these from Plex via DLNA.

Any idea how to fix this?

I have the same issue on my Xbox One S. I also see that you can't import or create playlists. This is a major shortcoming for VLC. Even VLC is currently a poor option for playing music using DLNA in the background on the Xbox. I wish someone would take the lead with a awesome product.

Could one of you please share an mp3 file that causes the issue so I can reproduce on my end? Just upload it somewhere on the cloud and share the link here.
