Is it possible to connect manually to an UPnP server ?

Hello, I have a UPnP server mounted by me on a Debian, it is detected without problem by VLC in "Universal Plug'n'Play".
I would like to use this server from a remote network (through the internet therefore).
Is it possible to manually enter the address of the UPnP server ?
Maybe in "media> open network stream" ? If so, what URL should I enter?
