VLC/"Local Network" photos won't display!

Hello,

I'm using the latest version of VLC for iOS on my iPhone 6 Plus. I am connected to my local network on my pc (my media server) from the app...I'm able to stream videos fine but for some reason when I try to view pictures from the "image" folder, while I'm able to see the thumbnails for the images, when I attempt to open them, they won't open...a blank screen opens and you can see the file name of the image in the lower left corner of the screen but it acts like it's a music file...they are standard jpeg/jpg files, etc.

Any ideas?

Bump! I am having this same issue. TVOS and VLC are current. Streaming from an EX2 Ultra using Twonky. Videos work, photos don't. I don't have the blank screen problem, instead, when I select an image, a screen opens and shows a succession of names of all the contents of the folder. Once this is done, the display returns to the thumbnail screen.
