matrix setup?

is it possible to setup videolan in a way as a videomatrix.

for example, four machines each capturing and playing a file, so a total of eight streams.

and ofcourse all four machines should have to have the ability to pick up one of the eight streams.

sounds a bit weird perhaps, but this could be a great solution for vjsoftware, on http://www.vjcentral.com is a message board where also many developers take part in the discussions.

We don't provide such a solution, but it might not be very complex to do, using VLM and some scripting magic
