add latest news section on website
Can somebody please add a "news" section. I.e. Today version whatever was released w/ release notes i.e. the subtitles hack was fixed in this release or something like that. Please, thanks.

I see the news on http://www.videolan.org but not on http://www.videolan.org/vlc which is where google took me. Why is there 2 url for nearly the same page? Whatever, ridiculous. Still no mention of subtitles hack.

There is a "Press center" in the header, under VideoLAN -> "Press center".
The frst entry (at time of writing) is Wikileaks revelations about VLC from 2017-03-09.
