Network stream not working on desktop/laptop but works on Android

Hi everyone,

I'm new and I would like to expose an issue I have with the Network Stream feature.
I cannot play network streams on desktops and laptops, but works fine with the Android (smartphone) application.

What I'm trying to do:
I have a seedbox which is accessible through FTP and HTTPS, and I would like to play the video files stored without downloading them, however I cannot make this work on my Desktop/Laptop, but it works damn well with my smartphone or tablet and the VLC android application.

Tested supports:
Windows 10 x64 (up to date + VLC 2.2.5.1) - Not working
Linux Mint ( VLC 2.2.2) - Not working
Smartphone ( Android 5.1 + VLC 2.0.6) - Working
Tablet ( Android + VLC) - Working

Others informations:
- I did my tests on the same network with the same DNS server
- I tried disabling my Windows Firewall to see if that fixed the problem, but it did not
- When downloaded, the files can be played by my devices (computer/laptop)

What happens:
1) Ctrl + N
2) paste the https link to my file, for instance https://pool***.seedbox.fr/files/remote.php/webdav/Seedbox/pathtovideofile.mkv
3) Username + password
4) Error message

Hi Rémi and thank you for you reply,

I'm sorry but I do not understand why it is a server-side error, the exact same method works on an Android device (smartphone, tablet) but fails on a desktop/laptop. If it is a server-side issue, every media should fail? Can't it be a configuration specific to the desktop/laptop application that blocks the query? (I already tried to reset the settings, and re-install the application)
